On October 8, BSE Sensex surged 303.72 points to 40,182.67 while the NSE Nifty50 jumped 95.75 points to 11,834.60 and formed a bullish candle on the daily charts. Stock market rallied for the Sixth consecutive day and Sensex climbs 40,000 for first time since February 25. Buying in IT stocks driven by TCS earnings with share buyback and banking stocks ahead of the RBI's monetary policy rallied market.
According to pivot charts, Pivot point for market is 11,843.82. The key support levels for the Nifty are placed at 11,781.97, followed by 11,729.33. If the index moves up, the key resistance levels to watch out for are 11,896.47 and 11,958.33.
