Stock Market Trade setup for 1st September : Things to know

Today, BSE Sensex corrected 839.02 points to 38628.29, and NSE Nifty corrected 260.1 points to 11387.50. In first hour of morning, market formed a bullish chart but after reports came on India-China border, market fell sharply and formed a high level of bearish line.

According to pivot charts, the key support levels for the Nifty is placed at 11210.80, followed by 11034.10. If the index moves up, the key resistance levels to watch out for are 11679.20 and 11970.90.

Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) will be opened for subscription at Rs 5067/gm for period August 31 to Sep 04, 2020.

Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) next tranche will be opened for subscription for period August 31 to Sep 04, 2020. Sovereign Gold Bond 2020-21 is issued by RBI on behalf of the GOI. The issue price for the SGB has been fixed at Rs 5067/gm for electronic application ( Rs 5117/gm for physical application).

The nominal value of the bond based on the simple average closing price for gold of the last three business days of the week preceding the subscription period.


The bonds are restricted for sale to resident individuals, Hindu Undivided Families (HUFs), trusts, universities and charitable institutions.

The bonds are denominated in multiples of gram of gold with a basic unit of 1 gram.The minimum investment limit will be 1 gram and the maximum limit of subscription shall be 4 kg for individual, 4 kg for HUF and 20 kg for trusts universities and charitable institutions foy financial year (April-March).and the tenor of the SGB will be eight years with exit option after 5th year to be exercised on the interest payment date. SGB will be tradable on both excahnge.

The gold bond will be sold through banks, Stock Holding Corporation of India, designated post offices, and recognised stock exchanges (NSE and BSE).
