On October 27, BSE Sensex was up 376.60 points to close at 40,522.10 while the NSE Nifty50 gained 121.65 points at 11,889.40 and formed a bullish candle on daily chart. Most buying action was seen in auto, FMCG, infra, pharma, while profit-booking was seen in the IT stocks. Top gainers on the Nifty were Kotak Mahindra Bank, Shree Cements, Nestle, Asian Paints and Bajaj Finance, while losers included TCS, Infosys, ONGC, Wipro and HDFC.
According to pivot charts, Pivot point for market is 11,837.03. The key support levels for the Nifty is placed at 11,775.02, followed by 11,660.98. If the index moves up, the key resistance levels to watch out for are 11,951.06 and 12,013.08.
